Is it permissible to remember Allah Almighty while there is a smell of cigarettes in the mouth, or is it a condition to wash the mouth before remembering Him?

Smoking is forbidden, and repentance from it is obligatory. Whoever wishes to recite the Quran should have a clean mouth, with a pleasant smell, free from any bad odor. Therefore, the mouth must be washed and perfumed to remove the smell of smoke before recitation.
