هل عدم قراءة الزوج لدعاء السفر أو عدم أدائه صلاة الجمعة أثناء سفره يمكن أن يكون سبباً في وفاته بحادث سيارة؟
Reciting the prescribed adhkar (supplications) and performing prayers on time are means by which Allah protects His servants. For instance, whoever says upon leaving his house: "In the name of Allah, I have relied upon Allah, there is no might or power except with Allah," it is said to him: "You have been sufficed, protected, and the devil has moved away from you." And whoever prays Fajr (dawn prayer) is under Allah's protection. However, it cannot be definitively asserted that the cause of the accident was the lack of dhikr or prayer; it might have another cause. Furthermore, knowing its cause does not entail any action or legal ruling, as long as the driver was not negligent in safety precautions. The advice for overcoming a calamity is patience, for Allah has promised great reward to the patient, as He said: "And give good tidings to the patient, who, when disaster strikes them, say, 'Indeed we belong to Allah, and indeed to Him we will return.' Those are the ones upon whom are blessings from their Lord and mercy. And it is those who are the [rightly] guided."
