Is it permissible to say: "Respect Allah"?

The fundamental principle in this matter is to use expressions sanctioned by Islamic law. This particular expression is not found in the texts of Islamic law or in the words of scholars. Therefore, it is preferable to abandon it and confine oneself to what has been transmitted. However, its use is not forbidden if the intention behind it is to observe reverence and good conduct out of love and awe.
