Can the hadith of Subay'ah al-Aslamiyah be used as evidence for the permissibility of uncovering the face while wearing makeup?

Some people cite the hadith (definition) of Subai'ah bint Al-Harith Al-Aslamiyah as evidence for the permissibility of a woman going out with an uncovered face and wearing makeup. However, this deduction is flawed and incorrect for the following reasons: It is not mentioned in any narration that Subai'ah went out unveiled or that Abu As-Sanabil saw her in the street; rather, he entered upon her. It is not mentioned that she uncovered her face in front of Abu As-Sanabil; rather, she beautified herself, applied kohl, dyed her hands with henna, and wore adornment garments, which indicates the completion of her 'iddah (definition) (waiting period), not the uncovering of her face. Abu As-Sanabil was one of the suitors, and her beautification was for them and within her home, which is permissible for a suitor. When she went out to the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, she gathered her garments around her and went at night, which indicates her modesty when going out.
