It is obligatory to perform ' (washing after defecation) and wash whatever has stained the clothes, and to perform wudu' (ablution) when anything comes out from the anus. Care should be taken by placing a tissue to prevent the spread of impurity. Avoiding impurity is a condition for the validity of prayer according to the majority of scholars. If you are unable to remove it, then pray according to your condition.
