Is it permissible to perform ghusl (ritual bath) with one's wife after intercourse or without it, following the example of what 'Aisha, may Allah be pleased with her, did with the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him?

It is permissible for a husband and wife to bathe together from a single vessel, whether after intercourse or not. This has been established by the practice of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, with his wives, and it is a matter permissible by the consensus of Muslims.
