How many miracles are there?

A miracle is an extraordinary event that Allah manifests through His prophets to challenge their peoples, and humanity is incapable of producing anything similar. It serves as a confirmation for the prophet in what he conveys from Allah. The word "miracle" (mu'jiza) is not explicitly mentioned in the Qur'an; rather, the word "sign" (aya) is used. Allah supported all prophets with many miracles, and the miracles of the Prophet (peace be upon him) are numerous, with no evidence restricting them to a specific number. Among his most famous miracles are the Holy Qur'an, the splitting of the moon, water gushing from between his fingers, the multiplication of food and water, and the yearning of the trunk.
