What is the meaning of Allah Almighty's name, Al-Muqit?

Ibn Jarir summarized the meaning of "Al-Muqeet" with several interpretations, including the Preserver (Al-Hafeez), the Witness (Al-Shaheed), the Sufficient (Al-Hasib), and the One who sustains all things through His management, with the latter being his preferred interpretation. Al-Muqeet is the Preserver, the Witness, the One capable of all things, and He is the One who sends down provisions, distributes sustenance, and provides creatures with what sustains them. It has also been mentioned with the word "Al-Mugheeth" (the Helper), who comprehends His servants in times of hardship and answers their prayers.
