Why do some people find it difficult to memorize the Qur’an, even though Allah Almighty said: "And We have certainly made the Qur’an easy for remembrance, so is there any who will remember?" And are there any reasons that make a person find it difficult to memorize the Qur’an?

There is no contradiction between Allah's saying: "And We have certainly made the Quran easy for remembrance" (54:17) and the difficulty some people experience in memorizing it. This is because the facilitation of the Quran includes taking admonition and pondering its meanings, which is the more probable meaning of the verse, and it also includes facilitating its memorization. Thus, there is no contradiction between the two meanings, as the facilitation is realized for millions, even though some individuals find difficulty in memorization.
