Does a woman in her postpartum bleeding (nifas) period make up the prayers?

A woman in postpartum bleeding (nifas) must make up for missed fasts but not for missed prayers. This is because Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) mentioned that they used to menstruate during the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he did not command them to make up for missed prayers. A woman in postpartum bleeding is like a menstruating woman in this ruling.
