Should a young man, despite lacking the means to get married, put his trust in Allah and proceed with marriage, knowing that the girl is a practicing Muslim?
Rely on Allah and hasten to marry, in obedience to Allah and in compliance with the command of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, who said: "O young people, whoever among you can afford to marry, let him do so, for it helps him lower his gaze and guard his chastity. And whoever cannot afford it, let him fast, for it will be a shield for him." And marriage is a means to wealth, for Allah Almighty says: (And marry those among you who are single and those who are fit among your male slaves and female slaves. If they should be poor, Allah will enrich them from His bounty, and Allah is all-Encompassing and knowing). And due to the saying of the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him: "There are three whose help is a right upon Allah: the fighter in the cause of Allah, the debtor who intends to pay his debt, and the one who marries seeking chastity."
