Is it valid to offer expiation by feeding ten needy persons for a vow "to be a righteous and pious person forever" if it is impossible to fulfill it?

The Muslim is required to perform God's obligatory duties and abstain from His prohibitions. This is especially true if one has made a vow to God, for God has commanded believers to fulfill their vows. Whoever vows obedience to God, let him obey Him. Righteousness and piety bring happiness to a person and tranquility to their heart. Feeding ten poor people is an expiation for an oath, not for a vow. It only becomes an expiation for a vow for someone who is unable to fulfill it. What is required of you is to perform the obligatory duties and abstain from the prohibitions.
