What is the ruling on asking for more details about the past of a girl who had a previous relationship, and should she be left despite her repentance?

Whoever is afflicted by a sin and then repents with sincere repentance, Allah replaces their evil deeds with good deeds and conceals them in this world and the hereafter. Therefore, one should not expose oneself if Allah has concealed them. A woman should not tell her fiancé or husband about her past sins; if asked, she should use dissimulation (tawriya). A husband should not investigate his wife's past, but rather overlook mistakes and focus on her current righteousness. If a girl repents and becomes upright, it is permissible to marry her without inquiring about her past. If a man cannot endure concealing (her past), then he should leave her for someone else.
