Working in an interest-based bank is impermissible. Whoever worked in it ignorantly of the ruling, he may keep the wages he received if he repents, based on the verse: "So whoever receives an admonition from his Lord and desists, he may have what has already passed." As for after becoming aware of the prohibition, the money earned must be disposed of by spending it on charitable causes for Muslims, such as the poor and the needy. If the amount is unknown, one should give what he believes most likely absolves his responsibility. If he is poor and in need, he may spend it on himself to the extent of his need, and it will be lawful and good for him and his poor dependents. As for dental fillings and the like, they are not related to what is forbidden.
