What is the ruling of the Sharia on a wife remaining in her family's home after the consummation of the marriage for more than three years without continuous marital relations or adequate financial support from her husband?

Allah and His Messenger commanded good companionship between spouses. A husband abandoning his wife for five years after consummating the marriage is not a good companionship; rather, it is clear injustice. The families of both spouses should strive for reconciliation. If that is not possible, the wife should take her case to the Sharia court to compel the husband either to keep her honorably or to divorce her kindly. Financial support (nafaqa) is obligatory upon the husband, and the wife has the right to claim any overdue support.
