The answer

The biographers and chroniclers mention that there were five Arab prophets: Ishmael, Hud, Salih, Shu'ayb, and Muhammad. Four of them were sent specifically to their own peoples: Hud, Salih, Shu'ayb, and Ishmael. As for Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, he is the Seal of the Prophets and Messengers, and he was sent to the red and the black, and to the two weighty beings, mankind and jinn, as Allah the Almighty said: "And We have not sent you except as a mercy to the worlds." (21:107) And He said: "And We have not sent you except comprehensively to all mankind." (34:28) As for Yusuf (Joseph), peace be upon him, he was sent to the Copts, and this is supported by the words of Allah the Almighty, as spoken by the believing man from the family of Pharaoh: "And Joseph had already come to you before with clear proofs." (40:34)
