Is it permissible to pray by interceding with God's love for His Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him?

"The love of God Almighty for His Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, does not necessitate answering the supplication in the aforementioned form. It is preferable for the questioner to supplicate to his Lord with His beautiful names or with his righteous deeds, such as loving the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, and following him. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyyah has clarified that asking God Almighty by the right of the prophets and the righteous implies that these people have a status and honor with God, but their mere status and honor do not necessitate the answer to the supplication. Rather, their honor benefits if one follows them and obeys them, or they supplicate for him and intercede for him. If that is negated, then his asking will not benefit him with God. If the servant asks God by his faith in the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, and his love for him and his obedience to him, then he has asked Him by a great cause that necessitates the answer to the supplication.
