I am in a single college and I am fasting; is there destruction in that?

If a trustworthy Muslim doctor informs you that fasting will negatively affect your kidney and harm you, then you are not permitted to fast, due to the Almighty’s saying: "And do not kill yourselves."

If the harm is temporary and you can fast later without detriment, then you must make up the missed fasts after recovery, due to the Almighty’s saying: "So whoever among you is ill or on a journey [during them] - then [he must fast] an equal number of other days."

If the harm is continuous and there is no hope of recovery, then you are not obligated to fast, neither as performance nor as a makeup. Rather, you must feed a poor person for each day you missed, due to the Almighty’s saying: "And upon those who are able [to fast, but with hardship] - a ransom [as substitute] of feeding a poor person." Ibn Abbas interpreted this verse as a concession for the elderly who cannot fast or the sick who will not recover.
