If the donor stipulates that the agent should not spend the charity on himself, then it is not permissible for him to do so; otherwise, he is a traitor and his money is unlawful. However, if the donor does not stipulate this, then it is permissible for the needy agent and his family to eat from it. It is not permissible for a son to accuse his father of consuming unlawful wealth based merely on suspicion. If the son is certain that all of his father's money is unlawful, then it is not permissible for him to take from it except out of necessity. But if some of his money is lawful, then it is not forbidden to take from his money unless it is from the very essence of the unlawful money itself.
