Is it permissible for a young man to constantly chat with an elderly woman, like a mother, within limits?

Islamic law is strict regarding interactions between a man and a non-mahram (definition) woman, setting boundaries that must not be transgressed to block pretexts and prevent temptation. Chatting between them is a means for the spread of evil and corruption, and it is impermissible under the pretext that the woman is like a mother or due to her old age. This is because Satan beautifies such things to lead one into sin, as Allah the Almighty said: "O you who have believed, do not follow the footsteps of Satan. And whoever follows the footsteps of Satan - indeed, he enjoins immorality and wrongdoing." A believer is not deceived by such tricks.
