Is it permissible for the husband to promise his wife's father that he will bring a musical band for his daughter's wedding, while intending not to fulfill this promise?

The condition set by the father to bring a musical band is null and void, and it is not permissible to fulfill it. This is not a fulfillment of a promise, for the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Any condition not found in the Book of Allah is null and void, even if there were a hundred conditions." The girl's father should be informed of the impermissibility of this act, or students of knowledge and callers to Islam should be directed to him to explain this to him.
