What is the ruling on a stepdaughter traveling for Umrah as part of a university study program, with a group of students and a professor, given that she studies abroad and does not live with her stepfather?

Many scholars permit a young woman to travel without a mahram to perform 'Umrat al-Islam (the obligatory 'Umrah) if she is with a trustworthy group and there is no fear of fitnah (temptation/strife). Likewise, Shaykh al-Islam permits her to travel for any act of obedience. So, if her travel for 'Umrah is with a trustworthy group and she is safe from fitnah, then there is no objection.
