Is it permissible for an orphaned and expatriate friend to work in a place where alcohol is sold, given that she is compelled to do so due to the unavailability of any other work to support her, and is it permissible for her to remain in this job until she finds an alternative?

Selling alcoholic beverages is impermissible, due to the Prophet's (peace be upon him) saying: "The Prophet (peace be upon him) cursed the seller of alcohol." A woman working in a place that sells alcohol must avoid directly selling it. If there is no other work in the establishment besides selling alcohol, she is permitted to remain there if she is in dire necessity and fears for her well-being, provided she actively seeks another permissible job. It is preferable for her to marry and stay at home to raise her children.
