What is the ruling on selling gold for silver?
It is permissible to sell gold for silver, on condition of immediate exchange (hand-to-hand), due to the Prophet’s (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) saying: "If these types differ, then sell as you wish, provided it is hand-to-hand."
