Is blood money and expiation obligatory upon the driver who caused the death of a boy six months after the accident, knowing that the driver's fault was estimated at 50%?

If the victim dies from their injuries after an accident, expiation is required from the perpetrator if the error was theirs, and blood money (diyya) is incumbent upon the 'aqila (the male relatives on the father's side). The report of trustworthy doctors is considered valid in proving that the death was due to the accident. These matters are referred to the Sharia judiciary.
