What is the True Creed, and what are some of the false creeds?

The sound doctrine is summarized in six fundamentals: belief in Allah, His angels, His books, His messengers, the Last Day, and divine decree, both its good and bad. All deeds and sayings are not accepted unless this doctrine is sound. Part of believing in Allah is: to single Him out in worship, to believe in His names and attributes, and to adhere to the pillars of Islam. These six fundamentals branch out into details, including: belief in angels, generally and specifically; belief in the books that Allah sent down to His messengers; belief in the messengers; belief in everything Allah and His messenger have informed about the Last Day; and belief in divine decree. Included in belief in Allah is that faith is a saying and action that increases and decreases, and that a Muslim is not excommunicated for a sin that does not reach polytheism. It also includes love for the sake of Allah and hatred for His sake, loyalty to the believers and the companions of the Prophet, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and enmity towards the disbelievers. As for the opposing doctrines, they are: worshipping other than Allah, such as idols, trees, and stones; atheistic ideologies that deny the existence of God and the afterlife; those who believe that some saints share in Allah's planning; and the doctrines of the people of innovation regarding the negation of Allah's attributes.
