Why did Allah reveal a Surah containing a curse for Abu Jahl, and will this Surah be a source of grief and pain for his believing children?

The Qur'an does not contain a specific curse against Abu Jahl, but rather a general curse against disbelievers, of whom he was one. Verses were revealed concerning him without explicitly naming him. Allah Almighty is not to be questioned about what He does, and He possesses ultimate wisdom in His sayings and actions. He has explicitly stated the disbelief of some relatives of prophets in the Qur'an, such as Abraham's father, Noah's wife, Lot's wife, and Noah's son. Allah addressed Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) and the believers, stating that it is not for them to seek forgiveness for polytheists, even if they are their relatives, once it becomes clear that they are inhabitants of the Fire.
