What is the ruling on being named "Rudain" or "Madeleine," and what do they mean?

The two names mentioned are alien to Muslims, and it is not advisable to be named by them. The name "Radeen" can have a meaning in the Arabic language, and if so, there is no objection to being named by it. As for the name "Madeleine", it is famous among non-Muslims, and a Muslim should not be named by it; due to what it may lead to of inclination towards them and admiration for them. The prohibition is confirmed if its meaning contradicts religion or if its meaning is unknown.
