Is it permissible to buy a new pair of shoes, use them for one day, then clean them and return them to the store?

Cheating is forbidden in Islam. And among the acts of cheating is to use a shoe, then clean it, and return it to the store claiming it is unused. Rather, the truth must be declared. If the store accepts its return, then so be it. Otherwise, cheating is not permissible.
