What is the ruling on naming shops with the Beautiful Names of Allah, such as "Fath al-Rahman Oil Press" or "Al-Rahman Hairdressing Salon," without adding the word "Abd" (servant of) before them?

The names of Allah the Almighty are of two types: 1. Those that are exclusive to Him, such as Ar-Rahman (The Most Merciful) and Al-Mutakabbir (The Supreme/The Haughty). It is not permissible for anyone to be named with these. 2. Those that are not exclusive to Him, such as As-Sami' (The All-Hearing) and Al-Basir (The All-Seeing). It is permissible to be named with these, provided that they are not applied to the creation in the same way they are applied to the Lord.

Naming shops "Alhamdulillah" (Praise be to Allah) or "Bismillah" (In the Name of Allah) is not permissible due to the disrespect it entails towards the ذكر (remembrance of Allah) and the names of Allah.
