Should a young female doctor abandon her scholarship abroad, which is for four to five years, fearing the loss of marriage opportunities, or should she continue her studies despite there being no current suitor and no guarantee of marriage in the future?

If traveling might lead to missing a marriage opportunity, then we advise against traveling and to remain in the country, so that Allah may provide a righteous husband, provided that the travel is permissible and does not involve any Sharia violations. However, if the travel involves Sharia violations, then it is not permissible in the first place. We also note that there is no objection to a woman offering herself to a righteous man for marriage, within the proper regulations and etiquettes.
