How can one increase faith, remain steadfast during trials, and fear no one but Allah?

Allah afflicts souls with good and evil to distinguish the patient. Trials are of various types, such as the trial of wealth, status, and women. To face trials and remain steadfast, a Muslim must: engage with the Quran through contemplation and action, draw closer to Allah through acts of worship, frequently supplicate, study the stories of the prophets and the righteous, rely on Allah, and keep company with the righteous.
