Is repentance from backbiting and tale-bearing accepted, even if the sin recurs after repentance and seeking forgiveness, along with giving charity and committing to not returning to it?

Allah forgives a believer if he sins, seeks forgiveness, and repents, provided the conditions of repentance are met, even if his sins are repeated. He must be wary of disobedience and of associating with those who lead him to it. If he sins, he must hasten to repent and seek forgiveness. He must also seek absolution from those whose rights he has violated and return those rights if possible; for this is part of the completeness of repentance.
