How should a committed son treat his mother who disbelieves in God with insults and curses, and is the mother excused for her disbelief, and how should the son treat her, and does the treatment of disbelieving parents differ from the treatment of righteous parents?

Cursing Allah the Almighty and His religion is an act of disbelief (kufr), whether done in jest or in seriousness. Anyone who commits this act is a disbeliever. However, declaring a specific person to be a disbeliever requires the fulfillment of conditions and the absence of impediments. Therefore, one whose Islam has been established with certainty is not declared a disbeliever except after the establishment of proof (hujjah) and the removal of ambiguity (shubhah). If proof is established against the woman who cursed and she does not repent, then she is a disbeliever, and her children should treat her as a disbelieving mother. It is important to note that punishments (hudud) are to be carried out only by the ruler.
