What are the consequences for a wife who said: "I seek refuge in Allah from this religion"?

A woman is not to be judged as an infidel merely for saying, "By God, I have come to hate religion," if her intention is to express dislike for blameworthy extremism and rigidity. One is not to be declared outside of the faith when another interpretation is possible, just as "leaving the religion" can also mean leaving its perfection through فسق (disobedience/sinfulness). The wife must obey her husband regarding wearing the niqab, as it is obligatory according to the preponderant opinion. She should be encouraged gently to wear it, be motivated by its virtues, be provided with information about the rulings of hijab and modesty, and her connection with Allah should be strengthened.
