What should I do regarding my friend who practices sodomy?

If you become certain that your friend is afflicted with immorality and persists in it, then it is your duty to advise him and instill in him fear of Allah. Remind him of death and of standing before Allah, and of his accountability for his deeds, and that the pleasures of this world are forgotten with the first dip into the Fire.

It is also advisable to supplicate for his guidance and to try to involve him with righteous youth so he can participate in their activities. Guide him to listen to influential religious lectures such as: "And fear a Day when you will be returned to Allah" by Sheikh Al-Shanqiti, "Sincere Repentance" by Sheikh Al-Buraik, "A Session on the Sidewalk" by Sheikh Al-Awda, and "On the Path" by Sheikh Al-Qarni.

If all attempts at reform fail, and he continues to commit immorality, then you must distance yourself from him, for sins are contagious.
