Is working from home, advertising and promoting a website that deals with binary options trading—whose owners claim it to be Islamic—while earning profits based on the number of registrants and warning to consult the fatwa of scholars before entering into any deal, considered unlawful?

Binary options trading is forbidden (haram), and therefore it is not permissible to advertise or promote it, as this constitutes aiding in sin and transgression, in accordance with the Almighty's saying: "And cooperate in righteousness and piety, but do not cooperate in sin and aggression." [Quran 5:2]. Advising people to refer to the fatwas of scholars does not absolve the promoter of sin.
