What is the ruling on displaying a country's flag in the shape of a cross in a website's visitor counter?

You should not place flags of countries that have a cross on your site, based on the of Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) "would not leave anything in his house that had crosses on it without breaking it." And the statement of the Mother of Believers to a woman who had a garment with a cross on it: "Cast it off, cast it off; for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to cut off anything that resembled this." You can substitute this by writing the names of the countries or placing a picture of a prominent landmark from them.
