The answer

A Muslim woman is not permitted to marry a non-Muslim, based on the Almighty’s saying: "And do not marry polytheists until they believe." However, a Muslim man is permitted to marry a chaste woman from the People of the Book, based on the Almighty’s saying: "and the chaste women from those who were given the Scripture." Nevertheless, Muslims abroad should seriously consider this, due to the possibility of their children converting to Christianity.
