Is it permissible to give the broker a sum of money in exchange for guiding one to another apartment, knowing that the tenant was harmed by the early termination of the contract due to a discrepancy in the contract's end date between the broker's copy and the tenant's copy?

Issues involving disputes and contentions cannot be resolved by answering remotely. Rather, they should be presented directly to scholars or referred to the Shariah judiciary. As long as the tenant claims a right against the broker, and the broker claims a right against the tenant, either they should reach an agreement and each pardon the other, or they should refer the matter to someone who can arbitrate between them after each party's claim and evidence have been clarified.
