What is the interpretation of the noble verse: "My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need," and is it permissible to combine it with supplications for fulfilling needs?

The statement by Musa (peace be upon him): ﴿My Lord, indeed I am, for whatever good You would send down to me, in need﴾ is a supplication by state, where Musa clarified his poverty and need for the good that Allah sent down to him. Supplication by state is more eloquent than supplication by words. This supplication encompassed gratitude to Allah for His previous blessings and praise for Him, glorified be He, as the Bestower of good.

This is considered a legitimate means of seeking intercession with Allah Almighty by expressing one's destitution before Him. It is a self-description of the servant and an acknowledgment of the Lord's perfect richness. Therefore, it is permissible for a Muslim to use this supplication to fulfill his needs.
