If it is difficult to combine praying the supererogatory sunnah prayer at home with catching the congregational prayer, then catching the congregational prayer takes precedence. This is because praying in congregation is obligatory, and an obligation takes precedence over a non-obligatory act. Furthermore, the supererogatory sunnah prayer can be made up later.
