Is it necessary to adopt the fatwa of the first scholar asked about a specific issue when consulting more than one scholar?

It is sufficient for the questioner to ask one scholar whom he trusts and whose fatwa he follows. Repeatedly asking more than one scholar may lead to confusion due to differing fatwas. If he asks more than one, he should adopt the fatwa of the most trustworthy and knowledgeable, or the easiest if they are equal, though the more cautious is preferable.
