How can young people be advised to quit widespread forbidden things, such as songs and TV series, without alienating them, bearing in mind that their minds and hearts have become accustomed to them?

Enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil is a great شعيرة (religious observance), and the scarcity of those who practice it has led to complacency regarding sins. Therefore, it is essential to acquire religious knowledge, invite people to Allah with wisdom and good counsel, and clarify the rulings of the Sharia with evidence from the Quran, Sunnah, and reliable fatwas, all while employing gentleness. Make it clear to those you invite that the criterion is what is supported by evidence, and instill in their hearts reverence for divine revelation and recourse to it, in accordance with His, the Almighty’s, saying: "But no, by your Lord, they will not believe until they make you judge concerning that which has been disputed among them and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full] submission." (Quran 4:65). Ensure that what you forbid is indeed an evil (munkar), employ the best approach, seek Allah's help, pray for the guidance of those you invite, and be a good role model.
