What is the ruling regarding a girl who loved one of her relatives, and the news spread until it reached him, knowing that she neither spoke to him nor met him alone?

A person is not blamed for an inclination of the heart as long as it does not lead to something forbidden by Islamic law. The inclination of the heart cannot be controlled. Rather, what is forbidden is what results from it, such as being drawn to the unlawful. And whoever remains chaste and patient will be rewarded for their piety towards Allah.
