Is it permissible for needy parents to take money from their son who owns a café for playing cards and shisha?

A father may take from his son's wealth what he needs, provided that it does not harm the son, or take what the son needs, and that he does not give what he has taken to another son. This is supported by the hadith: "You and your wealth belong to your father," and his (peace be upon him) saying: "They and their wealth are yours if you need them."

As for money earned from a café that serves shisha, it is considered mixed money (lawful and unlawful). A needy father may take from it, while advising his son to abandon the unlawful. If the majority of the money is lawful, then dealing with it and eating from it is permissible. However, if the majority of it is unlawful, it is disliked. But if all the money is unlawful, then dealing with it is forbidden.
