Incestuous marriage is forbidden religiously and naturally in all sound laws and civilizations, except for what occurred during the time of Adam, peace be upon him, due to the absence of non- women. At that time, marrying sisters was permissible as long as they were not twins. This prohibition was abrogated in the laws of Moses and Jesus. As for the Majus (Zoroastrians) and the Qaramita (Carmathians), they permitted it by inferring from Adam's action, an inference that is not religiously valid.
