Is preventing a wife from visiting her family's home except every 15 days considered severing ties of kinship, and is this period long, and what is the ruling on the expiation for this oath, knowing that he swore by Allah and not by divorce?

Preventing a wife from visiting her family for a long period is not considered a severing of kinship ties if there is a valid reason, such as the long distance, fear of their negative influence, or her need to care for her husband and children. However, if a visit is necessary due to the illness of one of them, then she should not be prevented. It is preferable to expiate the oath and allow her to visit when necessary, as the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever takes an oath and then sees something better than it, let him do that which is better and expiate his oath." The expiation for an oath is feeding ten poor people, or clothing them, or freeing a slave. And whoever cannot find that, then fasting for three days.
