What 'awrah in cartoon images may not be looked at, and what in them is it forbidden to look at?
The ruling on cartoon images shown on television has some detail. If they are in human form, there is some hesitation regarding the ruling on viewing them, but the stronger opinion is that they are not to be treated like real images. However, if they are in non-human form, there is no harm in watching them, as long as they are not accompanied by something forbidden, like music, or do not distract from an obligation. Even if these images are not to be treated like real images, this does not mean it is permissible to look at them if there is a fear that the soul may become attached to something forbidden or that a harm may result.
