What is the criterion for obsessive whispers (waswas), have they ceased for me, do I have to keep track of the days, and what is the ruling on the prayers I performed previously?

A person afflicted with waswas (obsessive doubts) must ignore and disregard these waswas and not pay attention to them until Allah grants him healing.

The ruling of being a muswasis (one afflicted by waswas) is lifted from him when he no longer experiences frequent doubts concerning his purity and his prayers. The prayers of a muswasis are valid as long as he has followed the ruling pertaining to a muswasis.
